Is the transparent background kept?
Yes. If the WebP has transparency, the PNG keeps it.
Is quality lost?
No. PNG stores the image losslessly, at the same resolution.
When is PNG better and when JPG?
PNG for logos, screenshots and images with transparency; JPG for photos, because it is much smaller.
What happens to my files?
