Frequently asked questions

What happens to a transparent background?

JPG does not support transparency, so the transparent background becomes white.

What quality is the JPG saved at?

High quality (90%) and the same resolution as the PNG. The file is usually much smaller.

Can I convert several at once?

Yes, up to 20 images of 20 MB each. They are downloaded together in a ZIP, keeping the original names.

What happens to my files?

They are sent encrypted, processed and discarded when the job is done. PDFya does not store or review them.

Is it free?

Yes. There is no sign-up and no added watermark. There is a limit of 20 MB per file and 30 operations per hour.
