  1. Select the PDF.
  2. Choose how much margin to keep around the content.
  3. Press “Crop margins” and download the trimmed PDF.

Frequently asked questions

How does it know where to cut?

On each page it detects where the drawn or written content starts and ends, and crops the white space outside it.

Is any content lost?

No. Only white space is removed. If a page has marks or a frame, the crop fits around them.

Do all pages end up the same size?

Not necessarily: each one is fitted to its own content. To make them equal afterwards, use “Resize to A4”.

What happens to my files?

They are sent encrypted, processed and discarded when the job is done. PDFya does not store or review them.

Is it free?

Yes. There is no sign-up and no added watermark. There is a limit of 20 MB per file and 30 operations per hour.
