Frequently asked questions
What is a HEIC file?
It is the format iPhones use to store photos. It takes less space, but many programs and websites cannot open it, which is why people convert it to JPG.
Is quality lost?
It is saved as a high-quality JPG (90%) at the same resolution. The difference is not visible to the eye.
Can I convert several at once?
Yes, up to 20 photos of 20 MB each. They are downloaded together in a ZIP.
What happens to my files?
They are sent encrypted, processed and discarded when the job is done. PDFya does not store or review them.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no added watermark. There is a limit of 20 MB per file and 30 operations per hour.
