Frequently asked questions

What exactly does it do?

It finds the edges of the page, straightens it even if the photo was taken at an angle, removes shadows and makes the background white, like a phone's document scanner.

Which finish should I choose?

Color for documents with stamps, logos or colored signatures; gray for text photographed in poor light; black and white to look like a photocopy and keep the file small.

What if it does not find the page?

Drag the four dots to the corners of the page in each photo before scanning.

What happens to my files?

They are sent encrypted, processed and discarded when the job is done. PDFya does not store or review them.

Is it free?

Yes. There is no sign-up and no added watermark. There is a limit of 20 MB per file and 30 operations per hour.
